For pets who need more intensive care — serious infections, breathing difficulties, or metabolic crises — we have the equipment and training to provide IV fluids, oxygen support, and continuous monitoring.
Medication management
Many internal medicine conditions — diabetes, hypothyroidism, Addison’s disease, inflammatory bowel disease — are managed with ongoing medication. We partner with you in the long-term management of these conditions.

We’re not specialists — and we’ll always be honest about that. Board-certified internal medicine specialists, cardiologists, oncologists, and neurologists have access to equipment and expertise that goes beyond what any general practice can offer.
What we are is experienced general practitioners who know when we’ve reached the limit of what’s appropriate to manage in-house — and who have strong, trusted relationships with referral partners across the region.
When we refer, we coordinate closely with the specialist to ensure nothing falls through the cracks.

Do you have specialists on staff?
We don’t have board-certified specialists on-site, but we work closely with specialist referral centres and will coordinate a referral whenever that’s in your pet’s best interest.
My pet has been diagnosed with a chronic condition. Can you manage that ongoing?
Yes — managing chronic conditions like diabetes, kidney disease, or hypothyroidism is something we do regularly. We’ll work with you to develop a long-term management plan and adjust it as your pet’s needs evolve.
