Wichita is very fortunate to have such a high quality veterinary practice. I’ve been taking my cats there for several years now, and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Dr. Christan Skaer is a skilled and compassionate veterinarian, and a wonderful human being. All of the staff there are great to work with. I should know – I’m a retired veterinarian myself.

I wanted to say thank you to Dr. Skaer and all the staff at the clinic. They are very patient and loving with our dog Possum, who is not the best patient. They continually provide excellent care. I like that I can call and pick up prescriptions when they need to be refilled easily and conveniently.

Skaer Veterinary is outstanding. They are kind and gentle with animals that are scared or in pain. We have had very good care for our dogs from the entire office. Would not want to take them anywhere else!

Dr. Skaer has so much knowledge and expertise that we are completely confident with Levi’s care even though he has complex issues. She treats us with care and compassion and keeps us informed and involved in decision-making.

We were able to get in quickly and Dr. Skaer and all her staff were wonderful. You could tell how much they cared about taking care of their patients and their families. We also appreciated how well everything was communicated to us about our puppy’s condition.

This vet clinic is absolutely phenomenal. I love Skaer for all the people that work there, their super friendly environment, they treat my puppies like family, they offer training help wherever they can totally for free, and the list just goes on and on. I’ve been to a handful of vets in Wichita that I thought I liked, but none of them hold a candle to Skaer. Plus, it’s owned and operated by a Wichita local veterinarian and founded in Wichita by the current owner’s father! On top of having an excellent experience, they are priced consistently with or cheaper than any competitor I’ve talked to.
