Dr. Elizabeth Covington graduated from the Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2014. She grew up in east Tennessee on a beef cattle farm before her family moved to Virginia. There, she completed her undergraduate work at The College of William & Mary, and post-graduate courses at Virginia Tech. While in vet school, she was active in the American Association of Bovine Practitioners, assisted with several ruminant research projects, and was a peer tutor for lower classmen. She currently lives on a farm with a menagerie of animals, including two elderly beagles, Ellie and Birdie, four farm kitties, goats, alpacas, and cattle.
